Working Translation Widget

Has anyone found a translation widget for the Notification Center that actually works? My ol' mid-2009 iMac recently gave up the ghost; I excitedly purchased my new iMac only to discover that Catalina is missing a lot of features near and dear to my heart (Dashboard being among them). Attempting to be a good MacOS citizen, I went to the App Store and tried to find Notification Center widgets to replace the functionality I had in High Sierra on my ol' iMac, only to find there are very few and half of them do not function at all (specifically the translation widgets). How did these get past the Apple Guard?

I'd appreciate if anyone has gone through this pain and found an answer.
