One of the reasons I updated my Apple TV is the App icon. An app I wanted does not show on the Apple TV although I have it on my other devices.

Some apps are available for iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. But some others do not have all three versions. That decision is up to the developer/publisher. You can look it up by searching for
