Fades

I want to import around 300 jpegs into FCP and create a slideshow at the end of my video. Would it be possible to put them in the timeline and automatically add a cross dissolve fade between each one?

iMac 21.5", macOS 10.13

Put them in the timeline. Select everything and press Cmd-T. Cross dissolve is the default transition.
