I just received a new iPhone XR and when trying to sign into my Apple ID, it takes forever to load and sign in. This happens whether I am in settings under my name at the top, in settings under "iTunes and App Stoes", or in the App store or iTunes store. My Apple ID and password are correct. What do I do so it will load?

Do you have access to another WiFi network where you can try? That has worked for several people.

The problem was linked to the december updates across all devices. If you update your device before trying to sign in, it should be fine now. This was confirmed by the engineering teams at Apple. I suggest doing a clean install from iTunes or macOS Catalina.
Good luck getting a non trouble shooting answer. I have the exact same issue with my Apple ID not able to verify and get the circle of death because it won’t load . Apple makes an exuberant amount of money! You think they would have a fix for this issue. I was passed around like a 2 dollar hooker . Each time a “manager” saying I will be in charge of this case and we will get this taken care of ! Bought the IPhone Pro 11 a few weeks ago . Problem still occurring . Most likely going to Droid due to an incompetent Apple support team .
I have the same issue, it was already escalated to several Apple engineering teams since I called them. Hang on!
