How can I use my Print Shop program after upgrading to Catalina operating system on my iMac

I was told that since I upgraded to Catalina on my iMac, the Print shop program will not work since it is 32 bytes and Catalina is 64 bytes. What is the developer doing to correct this problem. I am lost without the Print Shop program, Barbara

Hi, Barbara.


You're in a pickle. Your first stop should be to the Print Shop manufacturers website to see if they have an update available for you or are preparing one. Maybe they have an upgrade path to a more modern software package you can use with macOS Catalina.


Beyond that, your options would be to seek out a print shop program from another manufacturer that meets Catalina's 64-bit requirement... OR explore the option of reinstalling (downgrading) you iMac OS to Mohave 10.14.


Before you attempt to downgrade I urge you to do your research and backup, backup, backup your user data and files.
