How do i get the battery percentage on the home screen?

  1. Go to your settings app
  2. Scroll down until you see a green square that looks like a battery and says "Battery" to the right of it
  3. Press on the square
  4. At the very top you should see the words "Battery Percentage", swipe right on the circle to activate it

If you are using an iPhone X or newer, the battery percentage will not always show on the home screen. You would need to swipe down from the upper right corner to bring up Control Center. You will be able to see the percentage there. There is not enough room on the status bar with the notch to display all of the icons that used to be shown.
