After updating to El Capitan, my up, down, left, right keys no longer work correctly,
they work the whole spreadsheet sideways, and the whole sheet up and/or down.
any walk arounds from anyone. Im using an iMac thanks

Excel can be sensitive to Scroll Lock key settings. If using a keyboard that has that key, look to see if hitting it changes the behavior of the keys. If using a keyboard with the FN key, try to modify the keys with it to see if it behaves differently.

What are you using for a spreadsheet?
Have you looked at your system preferences general settings for the scrollbars?

I am using. Excellent 2011. 14.7.7
don't see any scroll bars settings.
I must be loosing it, But up/down, right/ left arrow keys only scroll the page, up/down and right/ left,
instead of a cell at a time....the original highlighted cell, remains highlighted. It has not moved.
I guess I don’t explain well.

I don’t have a. FN key. And scroll lock does nothing. Might as well not be there. Does nothing more/or less.
maybe I need another keyboard? Any suggestions?
I just tried three other keyboards. None work.
so it must be the update. Or the iMac.
