How to add air play devices? I want to connect my ipad running iPadOS13 and MacOs Catalina using side car but my airplay device option in system pref in mac always shows off.
How to turn this on?

Try connecting your iPad directly to the computer using the USB cable that came with it. Backup/sync the iPad with the computer. When that is complete disconnect the USB cable. What I want to do : Use 2019 MacBook Pro running Catalina to mirror screen to IPad 2015 running iPadOS13 via SideCar. [Compatible]
Problem :
1)Mac Doesn’t recognise my iPad even on connecting to same WiFi
2) AirPlay Display in Display in System Preferences always shows off.
AirPlay can't be turned on in MacOs Catalina and always shows off !
