Watch out for fake suspicious activity emails

I received an email from an address that looked like apple saying that my account had suspicious activity from Vietnam and to verify my information.

I called apple support and upon further inspection the email turned out to be fake. I’ve also received a similar email from “amazon” so be wary.

if you receive something like this call apple immediately

In a message Apple will always address you by your real name, never by your email address or Dear Customer. Also the sent-from address should be @apple.com or @itunes.com Additionally Apple does not send attachments.
