Apple tv apps

I pai for no ads on hulu but when I use the hulu app on the apple tv it shows my account but shows ads, why??

The “ad-free” part of this plan only applies to the Hulu streaming library. There are exceptions, and other content will likely be ad-supported.

But why am I still seeing ads?
