NFL + Premium not working on apple tv 4k

1. Log out of NFL+ on all of your devices. (Apple TV, iPads, iPhones, Macs)
2. Clear all cookies/cache on Safari on iPhone, Mac, iPad.

3a. Reset NFL+ password on Mac.

4a. Log In to NFL+ with your email & new password to Safari on your Mac.

5a. Use https://nfl.com/activate on Safari on your Mac with generated code for Apple TV Log In.

3b. Reset NFL+ password on iPhone or iPad. (Set Safari setting to Request Desktop Website)

4b. Log In to NFL+ with your email & new password to Safari on your iPhone.

5b. Take a picture of the QR code for Apple TV Log In.

That's it. NFL+ on Safari will activate the device.

NFL Plus on the NFL plus app works on Apple TV 4K first generation, the original one with the all black remote (I have verified this on two devices). As of this writing it does not work on second generation Apple TV 4K , the one with the silver remote. The app will show live games, but none of the NFL plus content. I have verified this on two devices. Don’t know abou my 3rd generation Apple TV 4K (latest model), don’t own one and have no plans too. As far as Apple is concerned it’s not their problem (and they are probably right) and NFL doesn’t care. So my advice is get a Roku, even if it’s just for NFL plus, it works good on that device, very good.

Yes, we tried that. This seems to be an issue directly related to the M1 Apple 4K devices as the issue cannot be duplicated on the NFL app with plus subscription using any other streaming device

NFL Premium Problem. Help Somebody.

I've re-installed, reset passwords, resubscribed, and used Chrome and Safari to activate, but still nothing. When I hit the "RESTORE PURCHASES" in NFL App, I continually get "Can't Find Your Subscription."

I reached out to NFL Premium Support, they Suck!!! Take days tor replay, with default directions to re-install.

No support. BUT THEY WANT MY MONEY! I can't believe this is happening during the best DEC/JAN football time. So ******.

Thanks for the posts, everyone. That helps me know that I’m not crazy and not stupid either. When I try to stream from my 4K AppleTV my NFL+ app sits on a black screen also and I cannot get any game to play. Sometimes AirPlay isn’t even available so I use Screen Mirroring from my iPad. It’s great as a workaround.

NFL+, please get your sh** together especially when you’re charging $80/year and your customers have to figure out a workaround just to watch a game.

Same problem here, on multiple Apple TVs. The only thing that works is to airdrop the NFL game from my iPhone to the AppleTV.

You probably need to contact NFL support for help with their app.

I suggest instead of choosing the "restore purchase" option just log in with your NFL account. See how that works for you.

Half way through the season and the NFL app on an M1 Apple TV won’t stream old games with an NFL+ subscriptions. It seems to connect but the stream never starts and sits on a black screen. This happens on 2 M1 Apple TV 4 K I own but the issue does not occur on an older Apple TV 4K, not an Amazon fire stick, nor a Roku, nor an Xbox. Yes I’ve logged out, Pierre cycled, reloaded the app, everything and nothing works expect live streams. This doesn’t give me much confidence I’d Apple lands sunday ticket next year

Ditto. I can sign in. I can watch my local games live in the NFL app.

Are you by chance using the M1 Apple TV 4K? That’s one I had issues with, the previous generation worked fine.

The NFL app on Apple TV is notoriously buggy. I try to avoid it as much as possible. If you have not tried yet, I suggest deleting the app, reinstalling it, the logging in again and activating your account. See if that helps.

Logging into the account is the first thing I do with the nfl/activate, but it does not automatically give me the Premium Access, so I press the restore purchases.

My subscription is solid, I can use my iPhone App Premium without problem, but 4K Apple TV will not recognize the Premium Subscription. Cray Cray

I am having the same issue. Have tried all of the above and nothing. Frustrating when you shell out all that money and than this happens and nothing works. Hopefully its fixed soon.
