not receiving current text messages on laptop

does anyone know how to fix this issue? I do not receive the messages I get on my phone on my laptop

iPhone Settings > Messages > Text Message Forwarding.

Make sure your Mac is in the list of devices to forward text messages.

Also make sure you are signed into the same AppleID on both devices.
