pc to mac file transfer

what is the best way to transfer files from my PC to my new MacBook Air - would a two ended USB work?

The best and easiest way (if you do not have an external drive that you can use between the two) is to use a USB Flash drive and transfer your documents, photos and videos. Depending on what how much data you have, you may need to make several trips between the two.
