How can I force a login to open the « Files » folder (iCloud drive files) on my iPad

My iCloud drive files are accessible on my iPad in the <Files> folder. if I leave my iPad unattended a few minutes, anyone can have access to all the files in the <Files> folder. How can I secure the folder with a password? Tks in advance

Hi sbistj,

Thanks so much for using Apple Support Communities. It's great to have you here. I see from your post, you would like to password protect the files located in the Files app.

There isn't a way to put a password on the files located in that app, however you can add a passcode to your iPad which can help secure it when its unattended.

Set a passcode on iPad

Cheers!
