Getting rid of a forgotten restriction passcode

Is there a way to get rid of a screen time restriction passcode if I don’t remember what the code is?

iPhone 8 Plus, iOS 12

Yes.

You must erase the iPhone and set it up as a new device to do that. Do not restore a backup.
