Restricted Explict contents.

Bought an Apple Music subscription today. Tried listening to the explict content on it but it was restricted. Read and saw all the fixes but still nothing is working. Please can anyone help? Running IOS 13.3.

Hi there,

First, if your are under 18, it may be automatically blocked. Also if you are set up with family sharing, it’s possible the organiser may of set up restrictions on your device.

To allow yourself to listen to explicit music, you must go to:

Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Content Restrictions > Music, Podcasts & News

Here you can select explicit. You should now be able to listen to any song on Apple Music.

You may be asked for a password when entering the content restrictions menu. If you don’t know it, it’s likely that you have parental controls set up on your device. Hope this helps, let me know!

Best wishes, Stan
