iPhone switches from WiFi to data while I’m on FaceTime

When I am on FaceTime, I notice my phone switches between WiFi and data while I am connected to WiFi. I have turned off WiFi assist, I have signed out of my WiFi and back into my WiFi and the issue still persists.

WiFi Disconnects During FaceTime In the iOS 13 update there is a bug that will disconnect your phone during FaceTime calls and drains your data. Any idea when this bug will be fixed if if there is a way around it? I’m tired of having to constantly worry about my data usage when my phone should be connected to the home wifi. Thanks :).

FaceTime problem While FaceTiming using my iPhone X the phone disconnects from my home WiFi during the FaceTime, then reconnect as soon as I end the FaceTime. All software is up to date as of this posting. I have tried to fix it but was not able. Can you help me with this issue please ?

Hello,

Try going to Settings > Cellular, then scroll down to FaceTime. Then make sure that it is off.
