I’m locked out of my IPad

Apparently My passcode ha been changed in my IPad and it states to connect to ITunes, but I can’t get passed the lock screen. How do I unlock this, please?

You have to erase the device using iTunes on a computer. This explains how to do it.

If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support
