I have an iPad Pro 11 inch with the Apple Pencil 2. I also purchased the Smart Keyboard folio. However, while carrying around, I have experienced that the Apple Pencil stuck on the side is not the most secure way and any contact anywhere, the Pencil tends to fall off. Any suggestions on how to secure or store and carry the Apple Pencil in better way?
While probably not the easiest, my iPad is in a Messenger bag because I also have the Smart Keyboard. I keep the Pencil in the box, and the box in the bag as well. There are a number of cases that allow for a more secure carry of the Pencil, but I'm not aware of anything that accommodates the Smart Keyboard.
You can provide feedback to Apple about an alternative for carrying the Pencil when using the Smart Keyboard. Maybe they can design the keyboard with a method to carry the Pencil more securely. I've gone to meetings and just carried the iPad with the Pencil in its charging position, and it is very easy to pull it or knock it loose.
