Censored music

Hi, I have a problem. All my music in Apple music is censored. It bothers me a lot, plus some songs are not available at all(for example: in an album where I know there’s 12 songs, I can see only 3 of them; situations like this are really frequent)

I turned on explicit content in my settings, but literally nothing changed. I googled this problem, I tried literally every advice, but nothing helps...

And another problem connected to this: I am in Europe right now. I tried to change my region(I heard people say that helps sometimes) to another countries, but Apple music(and App store) still says I’m in Belarus(my og country), and I have no idea why.

Songs aren’t available, apps aren’t available, and I can’t listen to my music normally. Please help, I’m so confused :(

Hello disformita,

I understand that all of your Apple Music are the clean versions of the song instead of the explicit like you set up in settings. I also see that you're unable to change your region in iTunes. I am happy to help you so you can enjoy your music again.

Let's start with the explicit music that you're unable to hear. Let's make sure that there are no restrictions turned on that is preventing you from hearing the explicit content.

Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

You can also try the following steps:

  1. Launch the iTunes Store app.
  2. Search for the explicit song that triggered the above alert.
  3. Play a preview of that song.
  4. If prompted to allow explicit content, tap allow.
  5. Check if the customer can now play other explicit content in the Music app.

For not being able to change your region in iTunes check out the article below. There could be steps that need to be done that are preventing you from changing it.

Change your Apple ID country or region

Let me know if that resolves this issue for you.

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities.

Take care.

Hi again!

I still have a problem. I checked the link you send, and did all things that were required. I needed to cancel my Apple music membership, that’s why I was able to try to change region only today.

I went to the settings, chose the region, and filled in all the fields. Then pressed “done”, but after I decided to check whether everything is okay, I saw that my region didn’t change at all :(

I tried changing it several times, but it didn’t help, it only shows my previous region
