How do I reable icloud photos so they can be downloaded

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities! If I'm understanding correctly, it looks like you need to enable iCloud Photos on your iPhone XR, and I'd like to help out.

If you had iCloud Photos enabled previously, your photos should still be in the iCloud website. You can download photos from there to your computer, or you can reenable the feature on your iPhone, so the photos download to your iPhone.

Set up and use iCloud Photos shows how iCloud Photos works, and how to set it back up on your iPhone. Which is at: Settings > Tap your name > iCloud > Enable Photos.

Keep in mind, any photo deleted from your iPhone, or iCloud, will delete from any other device which uses the same Apple ID for iCloud, and has that feature enabled. More info here: Keep your photos safely stored and up to date on all of your devices

To view your photos at the iCloud website, sign in with your Apple ID which you use for iCloud. This article can help with downloading to your computer: Archive or make copies of the information you store in iCloud
