RT-AX88U and iPhone 11 Pro Max - slow DL speeds

Just installed a new RT-AX88U router and it works with all my devices (MBP, Apple TV, iPad Pro, etc.) except download speed on my iPhone 11 Pro Max is just 10% of my iPhone X. Really high ping

of 29 ms.

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

router FW is updated
iPhone is updated
Tried resetting network settings on phone

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities! I understand from the information you provided that you’re experiencing slow Wi-Fi download speeds; I'd like to help.

Try the following steps, testing the issue after each step

Make sure you have the latest version of iOS installed. As of this writing, the current version of iOS os version 13.3: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
Restart your Wi-Fi router.
Reset Network settings on your iPhone by going into Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Keep in mind this will remove all previously connected Wi-Fi networks, APN and cellular settings, and some VPN configurations.
Test the issue while connect to a different network.
