Is the iPod 7 water resistant

When i had the iPod 6 is was taking pictures of my family in a pool and a kid splashes me and I dropped my iPod and I was destroyed. I want to know if the IPod 7 is even water resistant or Manet even water proof.

Absolutely NOT water resistant, AT ALL!

The iPod Touch 7th gen is almost exactly the same as the older 6th gen version.
