Why is my Bluetooth headset not working on my iphone 8?

Have you checked if the headset is compatible for iPhone? Also, what other phones have you tried it on?
I have tried it with Samsung phones. Yes, it is compatible with iPhone. It does work well for media but there's just the call problem.
Have you tried a forced restart of your phone? Your phone may be stuck in speakerphone mode, and a restart may clear that problem. Good luck.
Have you selected the headset in the 'audio' section of the calling interface?
My bluetooth headset works for music but not for calls. During a call, the person on the other end will hear me but I will not hear them and the call will automatically play via speaker. The headphones work great on other phones. I have an iphone 8.
