What is the oldest version of iPod Touch that supports Apple Music streaming?

I have a family account set up for Apple Music. I'd like my kids to be able to listen to music without using their iPads and am looking to pick up a couple of second hand iPod Touches (because it literally is just for music listening purposes). I really can't justify buying new ones for just those purpose right now. Before I go and buy something from eBay I wanted to check what the oldest version of iPad I can get that will support streaming Apple Music?

It looks like iOS 8.4 is the minimum OS requirement and on that basis, I think a 5th Gen iPod Touch will do the job. But I just wanted to see if I'm missing anything or misunderstanding the requirements at all :)

Thanks

Hello,

While an iPod touch (5th generation) could stream Apple Music, you would be better off with an iPod touch (6th generation) or later as they would be able to benefit from the newer Apple Music features.
