Dealing with Apple watch sports loop

I have the 40mm Pride Edition Sport Loop , I also have a spare sports loop.

When the sports loop starts to get dirty , how do I wash the sports loop properly without ruining it?

Does the manufacturers guarantee support sports loop, if so , what does it protect?

Thank you

I remove my sport loop band, put it at the bottom of a glass, and soak it for 2 hours in room temperature water and a half teaspoon of dye/fragrance free laundry detergent and quarter teaspoon of oxidizing laundry whitener (Oxi-clean). I remove it, rinse it, then soak again in fresh water for 2 hours or so. I then let it air dry at room temperature overnight until completely dry. This usually gets 95% of the dinginess and it feels new to the touch. It looks like this isn’t in that link the other user shared, so probably exercise caution with this.

My oldest sports loop is the silvery one that came with the series 4 silver aluminum, and the light grey edges did discolor very slightly after a year of continuous wear, but it’s nothing terrible. The red edges of the pride edition would probably look better.
