i have a UGreen

I have a Green hub that I got to use with my new Apple Super Drive. When I put the super drive into the hub I get a message that I need to connect to a USB port on this computer. I have a MacBook Air Retina 2019 13"

OK. So what's the question?

You need to connect the superDrive directly to a USB port on the Mac. You can't connect it to a hub.
