Bluetooth settings, potential spyware?

The Bluetooth settings on my iPhone X have been behaving strangely. As the last few weeks have gone on. The Bluetooth settings have been displaying my discoverable phone name as a higher number every few days. For example one day it was IPhone(2) and then IPhone(3) and so on. It stopped at IPhone(4) but I was wondering if this is a sign of spyware or what is causing the Bluetooth settings to display these numbers as if copies are being made of my data.
