Input monitor won't turn off.

It seems that since updating to Logic Pro X 10.4.7 I am unable to disengage input monitoring. Whether I have "Input Monitoring" selected on a channel strip or not I hear the computer signal in addition to the direct feed from my interface causing the phasey robot effect which is very distracting for myself and my clients. Any idea how I could fix this? Thank you!

Check your setting in Logic;s Preferences/Audio under the general Tab if you only wish to monitor through your interface Software Monitoring should not be enabled.
