Cannot Connect Apple TV to Hotspot

I am trying to connect my Apple TV to my hotspot but when I go into Wi-Fi my hotspot does not appear as an option. However, I am able to connect my computer to my iPhone's hotspot so I know that it is not my phone. How would I fix this?
