Naming/renaming/labelling photos

I have photos imported into Photos from an email. They have no obvious identification. How do I give them a name/label/title.


Similarly how I change the name/label/photo I already (most of my photos were imported from iPhoto)

You can see the title below the thumbnails of the photos in the "All Photos" view and in any album you create (in Photos 5.0 on macOS 10.15.2). Did you already update to the most recent version of Catalina?

Just enable the option "View > Metadata > Titles" in Photos in the View menu.
