I have “Allow Siri When Locked” on, but sometimes when I ask Siri “how’s the weather?” Or “what is the weather” it just says “you’ll need to unlock your iPhone first..” This doesn’t happen consistently though, sometimes it works as normal and just says what the weather forecast is from the locked phone. Has anyone else experienced this? I’m on iPhone 11 Pro, iOS 13.3

Is your phone plugged into your car or any other USB when this happens? I notice that if I am in my car and I have it plugged into the USB playing Pandora which is also going through the Subaru Starlink app this happens to me.
Did you force reboot the device?

I think I have reported it also.
No it is just sitting on the counter when it happens, not plugged in.
I feel like I probably have in between occurrences, but will probably try again. It’s just been happened sporadically over the past few months.

just started happening to me too, iphone XR and it feels like a recent update caused this drama.
Its very annoying because I rely on siri...
