My latest security update keeps timing out and won't install.
The latest security update only partially updated and now it keeps timing out and won't update at all. What should I do? Can I delete it and start completely over?
Mac mini 2018 or later

When attempting to update your mac it is a good idea to connect it to your router via cable, do not use the mac while it is downloading. You can also download the security update from here,
https://support.apple.com/kb/DL2027?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US
Once downloaded double-click to install.

You do not say what exact Mac /model /year /size /retina /touchbar is this
or
what exact macOS you are currently running
