Auto Reply for Text Messages
Is there is a way to set up the text message auto replies when you are NOT driving? I'd like my team to be able to send auto replies when they are out of the office and unable to respond.
iPhone 5c, iOS 10

I’ve searched over and over for auto reply on iPhone.
When it finally looks like they have the feature,(do not disturb while driving) it has to be switched on manually, has no scheduling and sends an automated text afterwards.
Also you can turn do not disturb on automatically, although it lacks a full featured scheduling (seperate times for weekends).
Does every business who wants this feature, have to switch their fleet to android?
Even just allow a third party developer to have it on the App Store.
Look forward you hearing your response.
Because if you are referring to SMS text messages they are within the purview of the cell service providers, not Apple. You could check to see if your carrier has such a function.
If you want a reply from Apple you should click on the Contact Support link at the top right of this page. As you were informed when you agreed to the terms of use this is a user-to-user technical support site operated by Apple. With the exception of some specialists that provide knowledge base articles for questions not answered within 12 to 24 hours.
I've been trying to set up the DND as a workaround for my office's phones, and I can't seem to get past the point where it only works for contacts. So every customer/client who messages a phone outside of office hours would have to be saved as a contact. Any one have success working around that?
Would like a reply from Apple! Not what I’ve been hearing for years about you can only do it on email. How is it possible that this feature is not available In 2020??
