You can install High Sierra
You can install High Sierra
Don't forget that some of the apps you have installed in Yosemite might stop working with an upgrade. You can try checking the RoaringApps website at https://roaringapps.com/apps to see what versions of apps work on which version of macOS - they don't have every app in existence, but do have info on quite a few.
And another important thing to do before any upgrade is to have a full backup that has been verified in case you need to undo any upgrade.
Good luck...
I AM TRYING BUT NOT LUCK. IS IT BETTER THEN YOSEMITE?
What happens when you try? You really don't need to use all caps. It's considered YELLING. :)
I HAVE A 27 INCH IMAC I AM TRYING TO UPDATE, I ALSO HAVE A NEWER IMAC 2017 MODEL. THAT ONE IS DOING GREAT, ITS JUST THE OLDER ONE I REALLY CANT GET THE PROGRAMS THAT I WOULD LIKE

It's fine. Hopefully you deleted the High Sierra installer from your Applications folder.
