IPHONE EMAIL INBOX ONLY SHOWING UNREAD MESSAGES

My iPhone 8 email inbox was only showing unread messages. It took me an hour to figure this out so thought I would share if someone else has this problem. Go to Settings, Mail, Organize by thread and turn it off. (From green to white)

Cant' Read Email on iPhone I am having trouble getting email messages to open. My inbox is taking several minutes to update. Once that is done, when I select a message, the spinning wheel appears and it takes about ten to twelve minutes for the message contents to appear. I am having this issue on an iPhone 7 Plus and also in an iPhone 11., both running iOS 13.5. This is happening with gmail, Outlook and hotmail accounts. I've adjusted settings in every way I know but nothing resolves the issue. Any suggestions?

iPad only showing unread emails Hi, my ipad is only showing unread emails. As soon as I read them they vanish. I've read lots of things online about this but everything I try doesn't work. I've been in email settings and changed everything but nothing worked. The little circle at bottom of page with three lines just goes between "filtered by: " and "unread" neither displays read emails. Is it a fault with my ipad or is there a setting somewear I've missed. I can get them on my sons phone or by searching all mailboxes. But this is just so frustrating, please help me !!!!!
