Can’t find and delete TikTok app
The TikTok app is on my phone somewhere but I can’t see or find it. I want to delete it but can’t. Can you help me find it?
iPhone 8, iOS 12

It’s not in any folder and it’s not on the list in settings either. When I search for the app in the store, it shows that I can update it like I own it. Also, why employer says they can see that I own it.

Are you saying it shows the little cloud icon in the App Store? If so, that doesn't mean you have it own your phone. It means that you once downloaded it in the past.
You can check also your purchases list opening AppStore, tapping your profile (top right corner), then Purchases.
There, you can choose between "all" or "not on iPhone".
Where is TikTok?

Have you already tried a forced restart of your iPhone?:--> Force restart iPhone – Apple Support
or
are you in this situation?:--> Hide App Store purchases - Apple Support

If you're sure that app is on your device, its icon could have been accidentally moved to a different screen page or "hidden" into a folder.

Oops, sorry, Idris... my latest post had to be addressed to the OP, not to you. My fault :(.

I figured!
:-)
I know what the white cloud is and it doesn’t show that. It shows the “update” button, the same button that exists for all the other apps I have on my phone.
Thanks. So it’s on the all and not on the “not on this iPhone”. So it appears it is on my phone, so why can’t I find it? And why isn’t it on the list of apps in “settings” ?
Check Settings>ScreenTime>Content & Privacy Restrictions and make sure you don't have anything restricted.
I don’t have restrictions turned on so i guess it’s not that.
I’ll try the restart.
