Orange Smudge - MBP 2018

My macbook is just a few months out of warranty, no applecare, this is a max spec macbook I use for University and it never goes anywhere. I have a tech21 case on it and it literally sits on my desk all day. I woke up this morning to check my emails and there’s massive orange smudging all along the left side of the screen?? Clearly this is a big issue with these new touchbar macbooks and I’m extremely upset because for years I’ve trusted apple in their build quality, I have a max spec imac, an ipad pro, a xs max, a mac mini, a second macbook from 2011 that still runs without issues, a time capsule, 4 airport expresses, and two ipod touches. Are there any recall programs available ? Can anyone provide me with next steps 😔
