iPad keyboard shows some foreign characters

After the last update keyboard on iPad shows some foreign characters.

example: the Capslock key shows something in an Oriental language.

I have checked all the settings.

The problem iPad has a globe in the bottom left corner but my other iPad which is working correctly has a happy face

Caps lock is typing in foreign characters. I just got the ipad air 4 yesterday and also the magic key board. When I use the caps lock, the letters are in foreign characters. The shift key doesn’t do this but only the caps lock. I don’t know if it is the ipad or the magic keyboard that is the problem. Has anyone else had this problem?

iPad Air 3rd Gen Hardware Keyboard Not Switching Language Hello, I have the device mentioned in the title with an apple hardware keyboard. I frequently need to switch between English and Russian languages, and this has always worked well using the globe key in the bottom left. This still works, in that when I hit the globe key it switches to the desired language on screen, but text input does not switch to the desired language. The actual intrinsic keyboard in the iPad switches as desired, just not the hardware keyboard. I have tried: Disconnecting and connecting the keyboard Typing text in the desired language with the onscreen keyboard to try to get the hardware keyboard to get into the right language Ensuring the device is up to date with software update

I did not realize you could delete all these languages by hitting the edit icon

Go to settings > general > keyboard > keyboards and make sure there is only one item on the list, like English. A globe key means you have multiple keyboard layouts active.
