Trouble with Apple ID

Hi, I cannot access my Apple ID on my iPhone11 but I can on my iPad????

i have changed the password ok with iPad working ok but still no luck on my iPhone.

can anyone help?

Hello Eric Root,

All good now!

I managed to delete iTunes off iPad and reinstalled. I also shutdown the iPad and found everything is back up.

Oh Joy!

Hmmmm a long and trying effort to get back on track.

You are welcome.


Do you have access to another WiFi network where you can try? That has worked for several people.


Try a restart.


Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch


Try a forced restart.


Reset Device


If necessary


Hard reset


Do a backup and try a factory reset. Then restore from your backup.


Restore to Factory setting


Backup - Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup

Eric Root, I ended up going with help from Apple Support who found the error in my settings “Screen Time”.

I had “Not Allow” on change passwords.

All fixed but I still have a problem opening “Apple App & ITunes” on my iPad as It freezers up! (It works on my iPhone) So I still need to find the problem on the iPad.
