I am new to OS 10.14. In the past OS I used I could see the number of items contained in a folder listed at the bottom of the window. This was very useful to me. With OS10.14 I can't figure out how to see that information. Can anyone help me?

With the folder window selected, go to the Finder menu bar and click View > Show Status Bar.
Also helpful is View > Show Path Bar.
