OS Ventura Spotlight show files with finder Icon and don't open its

I'm using a new Mac book air M2 with Ventura. I transferred my previous mac book pro.

When I search with spotlight i see the file i'm looking for, but it's showed with a finder Icon and i cannot open directly, i must chose search with finder and find it again in all the similar files.

How can I fix?

Spotlight search:

Search in finder result:

I found a fix........ be it a weird one! if you go into Settings / Siri & Spotlight then scroll to the bottom. Click on Spotlight Privacy then add your Onedrive folder. Weirdly it states locations to prevent spotlight but since adding it has worked fine..... at last!!

I have very much the same issue, however, I just noticed, that it only doesn't work for files/folders which are in my Dropbox. Dropbox recently had an update where it had to move the Dropbox folder to some weird location (highly questionable design decision imho). I suspect that there is a link between these two.

Can you OP or anyone else confirm/deny that only files from your Dropbox are affected by the reported malfunction?

I just spent 4 days explaining to Dropbox support going back and forth chat and emails with this issue, I even sent them a screen video of the problem from my computer. I confirm they are aware of this situation saying they are working on it. I honestly don't know if this will be fixed since Apple changed the main Dropbox folder to "Locations" in fact you have to download a program called Rosetta so Dropbox can work in your M1 or M2 Macbook, also being on "Locations" is making a link somehow to iCloud for what I can see; let's see if Dropbox team can resolve this the same way as other MacOS before Ventura worked perfectly.

Before asking Dropbox support, I did the same with Apple support, they heard and understood and they simply said is not their problem, their words: "everything is working as is supposed to", but what does this mean?? of course it isn't working, I mean they moved the folder to "Locations" not an option for users. I did my best to get them help me, I couldn't.

So after this I don't know who's the one to be judged, let's just hope any of both can help us out, we're hundred of thousands with this situation, everyday people using Dropbox is changing to Ventura.

Doing so many steps to open a file it just doesn't make sense...

I'm also having this problem (with OneDrive files - Dropbox seems to work ok) and it is pretty annoying. Yes, I can click on "search in finder" but I might as well search in Finder in the first place - except that the Finder search is miles less efficient in finding the exact file I want. So I search using Spotlight, then scroll down to "Search in Finder", then use words from the filename I discovered to narrow my search in Finder. Since this is a procedure I perform many times a day, this problem adds up.

Is there any resolution in sight?
