Issue playing virtual reality video

I am trying to play a virtual reality video through our learning management system and I can not seem to get ours to play. It plays on an iphone and an ipad mini, just not the ipad 7th generation nor the ipad pro. The video is encapsulated within a 1.2 scorm package within our learning management system. Does anyone else have this or similar issue or know what the issue could be? We've tried to play it via several web browsers as well as the native app. Help.
