I wish to import my Apple Mail .mbox to my Gmail. I am not a tech and would love a simple solution if there is one please.

I don't know how to import an .mbox to Gmail, but you can just move messages from one account to the other by dragging them in the Mail App.
Open a Mailbox with the messages you want to move.
Select one.
Select All (cmd-A).
Drag the selection into a Gmail mailbox in Mail.
Within Mail, just drag the messages into the Gmail mailbox of choice.

I must be doing something wrong but I have attempted to do this in many ways without success.

Yes I am familiar how to do that and I wish my request was that simple.
What I was wanting was to move all my Apple Mail .mBoxes into my Gmail account open in my browser.
There are some 3rd party apps that can do it but they have to be paid for. I was wondering if anyone maybe familiar with another way.
