Apple Pencil doesn’t keep connection to iPad for more than 25 seconds.

My Apple Pencil connect to the iPad, but as soon as I take it off the charger and use it, it will stop working on the iPad after a little less then 25 seconds. After the Apple Pencil stops working, it will freeze whatever tab I’m on for a few seconds. I use Adobe Fresco, and when it happens in specifically on that tab, it freezes for a little longer and when it unfreezes, whatever I had drawn in the 25 seconds the pencil was working, would disappear.

The pencil is not being over-charged, as I never leave it charging over night or whenever I’m not using it. The iPad has never experienced any physical damage, and was purchased the week before Christmas.
