Store video on external storage device while/before recording?

Is it possible to select an external hard drive to store video while recording on iPhone 11 Pro Max?
Or maybe there is some option in Settings or in the Camera app that allows to select an external device to store the video before starting the recording?

I am using an iPhone 11 Pro Max on iOS 13.3.

I just learned that Kingston offers external devices compatible with iPhone and you can take photos or videos and store directly to the external device instead of to the iPhone. Here is a tutorial on YouTube just in case someone is interested: https://youtu.be/AvYAMW1C68k
