How secure is it to install a Chinese SIM card into my US based iPhone?

I travel to China a lot. I just purchased an iPhone 11 Pro and I am debating to purchase a prepaid Chinese SIM card to cut down on data costs. Is the information in my iPhone safe when I install a SIM card from China> In other words, is the fact that one of the SIM cards in the iPhone comes from China make it more vulnerable or hack-able than a SIM card from the US, for example. I am worried that a SIM card could provide a back channel to hack into my iPhone information. I am not an iPhone or SIM card tech so perhaps this question makes no sense. I would appreciate any comments. Thanks!

iPhones cannot be hacked or infected with Virus / Malware / Spyware by merely clicking on a link in Safari, unless you have intentionally downloaded spurious softwares or unauthorised apps directly from internet and installed on your iPhone or/and have Jail Broken.

You need to look at the way you share your sensitive and valuable informations of your device with your friends and family members.

All iPhone models are world phones, so you can use them almost anywhere. Whether you are a GSM or CDMA network customer, you can roam internationally on GSM networks in over 200 countries or regions around the world. Availability of LTE data varies in some countries or regions and depends on carrier support for certain LTE radio frequencies. Contact your wireless carrier for more information regarding international roaming policies and rates.
