Find my friends not working on Korean phone

I recently bought an iPhone while on holiday in Korea but have come back to the UK and find my friends isn’t working - I can see online it’s because Korea doesn’t allow find my friends, but I only bought in Korea and actually live in the UK - is there anyway to get find my friends back? I use it so often!

How to enable find my friends I bought an iPhone in Korea. Korea has laws in place that restrict location services while in the country. I have heard that location services such as find my friends are switched off while inside places like Korea. I have now left Korea and live in a country without those restrictions, yet I can’t work out how to enable the find my friends features on my phone. I know the hardware is still capable of using the services because my friends can still find me, but I don’t even have a friends tab in the find my app. anyone know how I can switch this back on?

Find my friends stuck at vacation location i recently went to Osaka and came back home, but on my find my friends, everyone stills sees “me” in Osaka. It’s stuck there and I’ve restarted my phone, reset my location, and reshared multiple times. My Waze and Google Maps work as usual and has no issues. How do I fix it?

yea you would need to purchase an iphone in the UK.

if that feature is banned in Korea and you bought it in Korea, there is no changing it.
