What should I do about the pegasus virus pop up on my iPhone?

I got a pop up on my IPhone saying I had a pegasus virus and to call apple 888-624-****?? Is this a valid apple phone number?

It’s a scam. Pegasus cannot be installed on any iOS device running iOS 9.3.5 or newer. Apple patched that vulnerability with iOS 9.3.5.

Dismiss it, as it and the email notifications and the phone calls we’re all getting are increasingly scams. As is this.


If some random site could access your iPhone or iPad or Mac remotely, we’d all be in very deep schnitzel.


Now of they can fool you, they can get your Apple ID credentials, and access to pretty much everything. They’ll lie, cheat, spoof, flatter, pretty much any conn they can manage to gain the access they want.


Ignore it.
