macOS Recovery

Hello. I have a MacBook Pro macOS Catalina 10.15.2. I am trying to open the macOS Recovery by pressing Command-R but nothing is happening. What can I do to open the macOS Recovery?

You do not say what exact Mac /model /year /size /retina /touchbar is this

or

what exact macOS you are currently running?

Older Macs/ OS X do not support this feature.

If your Mac supports Recovery it is a boot up sequence, here is where you would hold Command R or Option Command R
